Local networks – Efficient communication is based on a powerful and scalable local network that requires only little initial investment and is often referred to as a campus network. RUCKUS ICX switches make this approach a reality. Multiple series of devices, including no equipment larger than 1U, make it possible to build modern networks supporting the latest standards and serving as a basis for dynamic services and applications developed for such networks.

What are RUCKUS ICX predecessors? These devices have descended directly from campus network veterans such as Brocade and earlier Foundry Networks.

What makes RUCKUS ICX switches different from other solutions? The ICX switches make it possible to built stacks of as many as 12 switches. Connections within a stack can be provided locally, via DAC cables, or at a distance of up to 10 km using fiber-optic cables. A number of high-availability mechanisms in various layers can be chosen for RUCKUS ICX switches:  from the Multi-Chassis Trunking physical redundancy which consists in building a cluster of two independent devices, totally different from the stack of switches, to VRRP/VRRP-E and the advanced layer of dynamic routing protocols.

The usability of the interface for managing the network environment is also important, preferably including the Wi-Fi network from a single interface of RUCKUS SmartZone or RUCKUS Cloud controller.

ICX 8100 enterprise-class access switch with flexible AI driven management options  – designed for hotels, residential properties, and education, it provides reliable, scalable networking for modern demands. Flexible management options include AI-driven cloud, on-premises, CLI, and web-based control, making deployment simple for any IT team. Supporting up to four switches per stack, it offers scalable performance ideal for growing networks. Benefits: gigabit, access ports with 10GbE uplinks; 8, 16, 24 and 48 Gigabit Ethernet ports for maximum
flexibility; up to 4x 10GbE SFP+ uplink fiber ports; optimized for latest generation Wi-Fi APs deployment.

ICX 8200 entry-Level+ Enterprise-Class Stackable Access Switches – specifically designed to handle next generation wireless first and IoT campus networks.
The RUCKUS ICX 8200 raises the bar with up to 8× 25 GbE ports for uplinks or stacking, PoE++ (802.3bt), VXLAN, advanced L2/L3 features and market-leading stacking density with up to 12 switches per stack. In addition, the RUCKUS ICX 8200 combines enterprise-class features, manageability, performance, and reliability with the flexibility, cost- effectiveness, and “pay as you grow” scalability of stackable solution.

ICX 7550 series of midrange stackable switches are purpose-built to provide wired connectivity at the edge of the network for the latest generation Wi-Fi 6 Access-Points. With multigigabit 2.5/5/10 GbE ports and the latest 802.11bt 90W PoE power, the ICX 7550 delivers the performance, flexibility, and scalability required for the most demanding campus deployment scenarios.
The ICX 7550 offers future-ready 40/100 GbE uplink ports to eliminate bottlenecks between network layers and ensure an uninterrupted user experience in high-density wireless environments.

ICX 7850 core and ToR switches – for the most demanding environments, with everything that lower series offer, available with 32 x 40/100G QSFP28 and 48 x 10G RJ45, 48 x 1/10/25G SFP28, with additional 8 x 40/100G QSFP28 ports per unit.
